Why should you support gaming?

Hey, there. This is CGR and welcome to my blog,
This is a Why it blog!

The e-gaming is not entertainment for children anymore, there are about 2.7 billion people who play games with an average age of 34.

By definition, gaming constitutes everything from small challenges or tricks to Olympics and everything in between like party games, tabletop games, mobile games, and video games involving multiple genres.
Gaming is also called an art and it forms an integral part of all the cultures of our society.
From being an important source of entertainment to bringing people together, gaming has benefits that rest beyond the games themselves.

A game is a structured form of play with rules, regulations, challenges, interactions, goals, and rewards often based on human physiology, it's often not easy enough to make us bored and difficult enough to make us quit but is a perfect balance of skills whilst being little challenging at all times, games with gaming partners that fall in the balanced range are most played and enjoyed.

Everyone has played some sort of game or watched sports and knows exactly the importance of it in their lives. But, here we claim that e-games are also an essential part of modern society.

Well, here’s why it, and here’s why you must support e-games.

Games have existed since ancient human history, sticks and bones formed the tools for gameplay and were often founded in a religious setting forming the cornerstone of social bonding. The earliest board games were pastimes for elites while games also comprised fighting.

With technological developments, dedicated tools were made for each game and the advent of silicon-based circuits was a whole new beginning of a new era of e-games.

E-games or electronic games created a whole new industry that will be valued at over 2000M dollars by 2023. It is very interactive, exploits human physiology, is easy to play, has levels, and is played by both children and adults.

Now, with the penetration of personal computers and smartphones it has become available to almost each and every person, in the comfort of their home, this raises the question of whether they are doing any good, helping society in any way, or destroying society and the future as many suggest.

In contrast, the e-gaming industry is actually creating t-sunami-like changes to our society in a positive way, it's changing, revolutionizing, and impacting lives in a way never imaginable. It will offer millions of jobs and possibly the first dollar most children will earn, will be from gaming. Today technology is able to allow hundreds of people to be present and interact simultaneously in one world and people are forming teams, communicating, and playing irrespective of their differences, this is exercising the social muscle of our society, creating a more sympathetic society.

Inherently gaming is not bad or unhealthy like smoking, only overdoing it, is, but even drinking excess water is bad, studying too much is bad, playing physical sports all day without a break is also bad, side effects of gaming are more to do with ourselves rather than the game itself.

Studies suggest that Gaming, even simple games expands our brain capacity, helps in our brain functions, is linked to higher intellectual function, and contributes to keeping different parts of the brain alive while also serving as a very good reward system which is key to creating a good habit.

Video games can also help with depression, and actually calm a person. And against the common belief, violent games don’t make people emotionally unavailable or violent.

On top of it, E-sports also requires skills like mechanical, strategic, and leadership, and helps develop real value traits like focus, diligence, perseverance, and dedication which is boosted by interest of a person in games and the design of games itself, so it's time we start respecting and supporting them.

E-gaming is also the first thing that creates familiarity for a child with technology, which in turn leads them to explore other fields like content creation and coding.
Many content creators acknowledge that they started their journey by playing games, while most coders started coding after they got familiar with computers by means of games, even Elon Musk acknowledges that.

So, just like technology infiltrating each and every field of our lives, our jobs, how business, and meetings are conducted, how education is being passed on, how we communicate and get to know each other, the way we shop or book appointments, and many times even fall in love, among many other things, why should gaming and sports be any different?

We think it can and will co-exist!

Did you know learning a new language can also help, keep our brain young?
Well, that seems like a story for another why it!
