The Rating System

Hey, there. This is CGR and welcome to my blog,

Today's topic is THE RATING SCALE

The scale of rating people or the “1 to 10 S” was first developed during the American Industrial Revolution. It was initially only used by men to rate women coming through a gate -gate of college, class, or bar, among other important gates like India Gate.

Initially, it got very popular, especially in the American culture, everyone rated each other, gradually the paradigm of the system expanded, and it transcended to cover every culture, religion, gender, and class, basically to every stratum of the society.

And American culture since 1945 affects every culture, this system spread like a wildfire, everyone was excited to rate random as well as not random people. You are 9, you are like a 10, you are only 5. These were the lines used in a common conversation amongst people.

However, I found 3 flaws in the phenomenal 1 to 10 S after a keen observation of communication and interactions of common people:

  1. Arithematics:
  2. This system is not dependent on mathematical formulas like the symmetry of the face or golden ratio of cheeks(female) or jawline exposure or fat percentage or BMI but it depends on a human free will which changes from person to person and the mood of the person.

  3. Single Look:
  4. This system is often solely dependent on just one look a person takes, often the first look which can be deceptive and circumstances may matter for the test subject after that damage is almost irreparable unless the subject is a total of 10.

  5. Simultaneity:
  6. This is based on the human flaw of looking of different ratings based on changes in angle, distance, clothes, no of hours slept, camera, etc. On top of it, one person, at one instant, captured by one photographer, by one camera can look of two different ratings, caused by for eg. position of eyes, smile, etc.

Although flawed it shall continue to exist.
There’s a way to hack this system:
+1: Fit
+1: Well dressed up
+1: Smile
+1: Well-groomed
etc.
*points change as we move up the scale
*Also 5 person can become 10 in some cases.

But, When you fall in love with someone, 8.5 equals a perfect 10.

So, this my friends are the history, features, and characteristics of the rating system you at least you probably use in your heads along with its hack.

No money? - Work on skill
No looks? - Exercise, healthy eating, fashion
No friends? - Get involved in a group activity related to a hobby ( my theory)
No peace? - Die (RIP) or meditate
Not happy? - Keep reading my blog!
And don’t forget to :Search Google. There literally answer for everything, almost! Jk, everything!

This is CGR signing off on a positive note. Thank you!
Be awesome!
